AdBrite – Full page Ad
By acca | October 16, 2007
First full page ad in newspaper was Volkswagen Beetle ad, created by Doyle Dane Bernbach agency in 1959. Since this way of advertising was successful, many other brands started with that kind of newspaper campaigns. American Express campaign «My Life, My Card», for example, raised positive opinion about American Express bran for 5%. Also, 3% more people knew about brand after campaign was over.
Few days ago, AdBrite started Full Page Ad internet advertising campaign type. After except AdBrite Full page Ad, site owners should create header, and bellow it ad should appear. Ad will be on whole page except on header. Publishers will chose at what moment ad will appear. On header, «skip this ad» link will appear and site visitor will be able to chose if he will watch ad or not.
So, advantage is that Publishers can earn incremental revenue without taking up their site’s webspace for banner or some other kind of affiliate link. Also, AdBrite says that advertisers will be mostly well known brands.
You can see Full Page Ad example on AdBrite website.
