Anyone Can Do It - Real Life Laws on Entrepreneurship book

Sahar and Bobby Hashemi, British sister and brother, Iranian background, followed their dream into entrepreneurship. They had successful jobs, Sahar was layer and Bobby was investment banker in USA. They described their entrepreneur steps in”Anyone can do it” book. All their fears, enthusiasm, and all. Back in 1995. they noticed there are no nice coffee shop in London like there are in New York, and they decided to open one. And lots of more after that first. They started Coffee Republic.

One of the first rule we can find in this book, is “You can not be an entrepreneur with half of work”. They don’t believe in part time entrepreneurship. You have to be into it, full time, full mind.

Sahar and Bobby talks about pros and cons of entrepreneurship. Pros are: flexible work time, you do what you like, you are your own boss, no office policy, you can work from your home. But there are cons, too. Minuses. 24/7 work, you are not payed at start, you have responsibility for others, you will be lonely, house is not safe place anymore, there are not full relaxing, …

In one part of !Anyone can do it” book, Sahar and Bobby wrote about “Think and get rich” Napoleon Hill. He believes there is hidden leader in all of you. That leader testing you all the time with bad experiences. You have to get through that tests on your entrepreneur journey. If you fail, too bad. Your mistake. If you succeed, everyone will say Bravo to you.

They talk about phases, too. Your business can either grow or get down. There is no middle. And you have to act like you have an child. Noone can be born like an 5 year old kid. There is growness and your business must go through phases to become big.

I like what they say in the book. It is true, when working from home, you do have to separate your business, create boundaries, or you will never relax. I agree you have to treat the business like a baby, you have to nurture it in order for it to grow.
