Goodbye AdSense referrals
By acca | January 10, 2008
If you use AdSense, you probably already heard about new changes everybody hate. For Adsense publishers, when they get some referral join Adsense thru their link, and who are from North or Latin America or Japan, reward is now lower. It’s not $250 anymore but 100 dollars. Like in old days. But for us who are not from that pars of the World rule is different. We get nothing. NOTHING! No matter if you have 90% US visitors on website, no matter if you have very serious site, where are you from matters. Everybody talks about that. Some are confused, some shouts, some yell. And noone have no idea what Google wanted with that. What Google thinks? Anyway, not lots of publishers mention that Adsense earning is half than last year earning for same amount of website traffic. Lots of them targeted referrals first. Not, when that is gone, I see others will profit. Bidvertiser, Adbrite, Chitika, etc. Probably affiliate programs, too. Like CJ, Art, software affiliates, t-shirts programs, and many, many different others. It will be interesting next period.
